When you hear about the way textiles are fabricated in the modern days, the poisoned cotton plantation, the chemical dyeing and the horrible working conditions, do you not try to think of a way of changing? But what could a solution look like?
Mr. Ananthasayanan will talk about his solution in "Making Non-Violent Fabric: The Tula Story" at the SLI building starting 5:30 pm on the 30th of April. The Tula brand was founded by him and two other social activists in 2011 and has been growing ever since. The garments manufactured by this social enterprise are both environment-friendly and fair. One day before the event an Exhibition of these unique clothes starts at SLI.
SLI looks forward to share tea and a vivid discussion with you!
